I was born in Cali, Colombia. It was during my teenage years that I realised I had a weird desire for cinema and the magic of making films, after watching movies like E.T and Jurassic Park. After immigrating to Australia in 2007, I stumbled across a working position in the lighting department on an independent feature film where I learnt an invaluable amount of things, including those little lighitng and camera tricks to make things look great. While working in numerous positions in the film industry, I discovered I had a passion for being behind the camera. To keep sweet and short, I began shooting small projects for local production companies and sometimes news coverage for programs like SBS Vicelands.

These oportunities became a real turning point in my career and helped me transition as a cinematographer. Since then, I’ve had the amazing oportunity to work across a wide range of projects - from new coverage, music videos and commercials to international feature films. I have been extremely lucky to have been able to travel the world doing what I love. At the same time, I’ve been very priviledged to received a number of recognitions for my work, including an ACS Silver award in the commercial category and a ACS Silver in the music video categories in consectuive years. I will aim to get a Gold in 2020 ;)

I am based in Brisbane, Australia and available internationally.
